new Delhi. Army School Teacher Recruitment 2019: If you want to do a teacher job in Army Public School, then there is good news for you. Bumper vacancy has been removed for 8000 teacher posts in Army School. This recruitment is being organized by the Army Welfare Education Society. The applications for recruitment have started from 1 September and the last date to apply is 22 September.

Actually, the Army Welfare Education Society AWES has sought applications for almost all subjects of PGT / TGT / PRT. There are 137 army public schools in various cantt and military areas across the country. Teachers are being recruited on a large scale in these schools. According to the notification released on the official website, 8000 teachers are being recruited. However, the exact number of vacancies will be revealed later after the screening test and interview conducted by the school management.

The Army Welfare Education Society will select AWES candidates in three steps. Final selection will be done on the basis of online screening test, interview and teaching skills and evaluation of computer proficiency. The screening test will be conducted online and will be in MCQ format.

The steps to apply for APS Teacher Recruitment 2019 are as under:

1st Step: Visit the official website: aps-csb.in.

2nd Step: Scroll down and click on “New User” under “Registration”.

3rd Step: Read the instructions carefully and check the box against the statement saying that you have read and understood the instructions. Then click on “Proceed”.

4th Step: Another page will open with another set of instructions. Read them carefully. Check the box against the statement saying that you have read and understood the instructions. Then click on the “Proceed” button.

5th Step: Enter your Personal Details, like the name of the candidate, post applied for, gender, date of birth, nationality, email ID, phone number, postal address, etc.

6th Step: Click on “Proceed”.

7th Step: A message indicating successful registration will be displayed on the screen. Also, your Login ID and Password will be generated. Note them down somewhere. Then click on “Proceed”.

8th Step: Now enter your professional, qualification, and experience details, and click on “Proceed”.

9th Step: Now, upload the scanned image of your birth certificate or school leaving certificate. To do that, click on “Upload File” and browse through your system to select the document. Then click on “Upload”. Note that the file should be in JPG format and the size of the file should not be greater than 500 kb.

10th Step: Similarly, upload your passport size photo, signature (not greater than 300 kb and 300 kb respectively) and highest qualification certificate (500 kb), professional certificate (500 kb), any additional qualification certificate, National sports Certificate (if available, 500 kb) one after the other.

11th Step: Now, verify all the details and click on “Submit”. In case you want to make any change, click on “Modify”.

12th Step: Select the mode of payment – Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking, and click on “Next”. Make payment of APS Teacher recruitment application fee. The Army Public School Recruitment Application Fee is Rs 500 for all (non-refundable).

13th Step: Take a print out of the confirmation page for future reference.

Army Public School Recruitment 2019: APS Teacher Selection Process

The selection process of Army Public School Teachers (PRT, TGT, and PGT) includes three stages:

The Army Public School Recruitment exam pattern for Online Test of TGT and PGT is tabulated below:

The total time duration of the exam is 180 minutes and all questions will be of Multiple Choice Type (MCQs).

The exam pattern for the Online Test of PRT has only one part. It comprises questions from General Awareness, Mental Ability, English Comprehension, and Educational Concepts and Methodology. The maximum marks of the test is 90 and the total time duration is 90 minutes.

Note the following points:

  1. An agency identified by HQ AWES will conduct the Online Test.
  2. One-fourth mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
  3. In order to qualify in the exam, candidates must secure 50% marks in each part.
  4. Candidates who clear the Online Screening Test will be eligible to appear for the next round.
  5. The scores secured by the candidates will be normalized to 100.
  6. Candidates who clear the Online Exam will get a scorecard.
  7. PG/TGT candidates who fail to clear Part B (subject-specific test) will have the option to go for the PRT post.

Interview

After the Online Test is conducted, each of the participating schools will announce the vacancies available separately.

Evaluation Of Teaching Skills And Computer Proficiency

Candidates of Language Subjects will have to appear for Language Test (written) comprising Essay and Comprehension, each carry 15 marks. In addition, this stage also involves evaluation of teaching skills and computer proficiency.
