In According With The Provicition Of The Sub Section  1 Pf Section 23 Of The RTE Act. Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi conducts Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) as per the guidelines laid down by The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India. CTET exam was conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) twice in a year. However, as per media reports, the teacher eligibility test will now be conducted only once a year.

CBSE CTET Syllabus 2018: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for candidates with B.Ed. degree or diploma in elementary education. CTET is the eligibility requirement for recruitment of teachers in government schools under centre, state or Union Territory administration. The CTET certificate remains valid till seven years from the result declaration date. Candidates who have already qualified the exam can also re-appear to improve their score.
